EntMnt Xclusive My Personal Review about Videocon D2H !

After Addition of zee studio Hd and zee cinema HD i couldn't control my excitement.I booked D2h online this afternoon,this evening only installation done.Thanx to one of my friend in D2h office.

About HD channels: PQ is same as ADTV PQ.No more comparisons and no more comments on it.Infact I find some HD channels PQ is same like hathway HD PQ.
3D HD channel is unique and programs are too good watching in HD.you cant find these kind of experience anywhere.Thanx to D2h.
Music active HD songs are OK.Nothing bad nothing good about it.

SD channels PQ: I must say some channel PQ is superior than ADTV.No way comparison with Hathway bcoz Cable SD channel PQ is low.

HD channels AQ: I am very much disappointed about D2h AQ.Very very low comparing to ADTV.no way comparision with Hathway.No dolby sound.
I very much surprised to check the d2H STB there is no sound option (PCM sound and Dolby option).I dont know how D2h will give Dolby sound in future also??this is very bad hardware comparing to any DTH or HD cable.

I find plus points in d2h are count of SD channels(very good PQ) and count of HD channels(OK PQ and highest number of channels comparing to any DTH or cable).
I know many members wants change their DTH or cable.If they r using Dish TV or tata sky or Sun direct or reliance they can apt d2h.
But ADTV users plzz stay in ADTV only. No use of d2h for U guys.especially who are enjoying dolby sound in ADTV.plzz wait some more days for zee studio HD and M tunes HD.
I know hathway users dont go anywhere bcoz they r getting all channels with superb AQ and PQ(HD channels only).

So My rating is only 2 out of 5( I am sound concern person comparing to channel count I didnt find any thing good in D2H that is the reason i have given only 2 irrespective of channel count).

Nice Review bhaskarkilli bro. But You can't rate 2/3 only bcoz of Dolby. If only sound is an issue it should be 4/5

Anyways. for Dolby Digital Sound, HDMI Port is there. No additional port is required.

Also d2h used to provide SPDIF port in earlier STB . Is it missing in your STB ??

Did you got Atom Box or bigger STB ?? Can we have the snap pls .

SPDIF port is there IM bhai.But they have to give Sound options as PCM sound and Dolby sound.If not ..if they enable dolby sound..The other users who are doesn't have Dolby speakers they wont get any sound.hathway also suffered with same problem.after that so many tests they have enabled Dolby sound.
I think Now a days Sound also equally important as PQ.If we take channel count Dish Tv also comes in to race( I know they dont have star HD channels).D2H has to enable dolby sound if not no use giving so many HD channels.now a days cable services also concentrating on dolby sound.

Absolutely agree. I didn't purchased HT just bcoz d2h doesn't have Dolby Sound. So, hardware wise they are ready. Only thing they need is to enable SPDIF and pass Dolby should through STB.

Also , HDMI port are capable enough to carry out Dolby Digital Sounds.

HDMI for HD PQ and sound for TV.how can you give one HDMI for TV and HT??yes,we can give HDMI to TV and we can optical fiber from HT to TV but not sure it will give Dolby sound.Now i connected Optical fiber from My HT to TV.I am getting 5.1 sound from hathway only.My Bluray player and ADTV STB does't give 5.1 sound now.If I want to get 5.1 sound from them separately I have to put optical wire to my HT.
