Yes said by IM bro., the PVR recording feature is there, not enabled yet in D2h 4K STB will be available in future S/W update vi OTA.
You will have to have External USB or hard disk for recording purpose using this STB.
Videocon D2h 4K UHD DVR is yet to be launched which will have inbuilt hard-disk and might carry multi-tuner recording unique feature.

Another thing I need some info about new 4KUHD STB. D2h still uses irdeto firmware for SD/HD STB. and new channel additions are automatic in those irdeto stb, I mean customers need not scan fir new channels to get added. But still theres a option in those STB to scan.
What about this new NDS STB ??? are channels added automatically ?? And is there any option to scan for channels like irdeto ??? or is is automatic, I mean no need to scan

These SD and HD stb's currently used r little slow, if a new channel is added then if u do not scan , new channel will reflect on STB only after 30 minutes . This is bcoz RAM i low in these STB's. New 4K STB won't have that issue

the encryption doesnt matter in any stbs as d2h has implied dual encryption on all channels.
