News Narendra Modi to launch DD Kisan on 26 May as part of govt’s anniversary

As part of the first anniversary celebrations of the NDA government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the anticipated agriculture-focused channel DD Kisan tomorrow (26 May).

The government has made DD Kisan a ‘must carry’ channel, making it mandatory for cable and direct-to-home (DTH) operators to provide it to their subscribers.

That's the reason all DTH added this channel so quickly including Tata Sky.

DD Kisan will become ful fledged channels from tomorrow and Test Signal tag will be removed.

If govt wanted DD Kisan a 'must carry' channel then why to replace DD Sports with DD Kisan on C band....
Now I am not able to watch DD Sports on cable.....
