Nat Geo HD channels have become India-specific

I noticed a couple of days ago that the programming blocks of National Geographic HD and Nat Geo Wild HD are nearly identical to their SD counterparts.

I don't think this was the case earlier, especially for Nat Geo HD, which showed timings for several South Asian countries.

I haven't been able to check for Nat Geo People HD but it could be similar.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Ya! I had watched SCIENCE OF STUPID Indian version hosted by manish while on Nat Geo HD it was hosted by someone from foreign and in English language.
I have requested by tweets to provide HD feed in Hindi.

That's a good observation! You're right, the UK version of Science of Stupid hosted by Richard Hammond used to air before they shifted to India feed. I hope they improve the program content though since all I've seen over the past few days in SoS shows.

I also feel that the audio quality of both NG HD and NG Wild HD feeds isn't as good as the Asia feed. Does any one else feel the same?

To me, it feels like the difference we notice between a low bit-rate song and a high bit-rate song. Or a MP4 video vs. a FLV video. I don't know if this is from my operator (Hathway) or it is from the source itself.

if anyone watches the Nat geo they can provide you the feedback and i am absolutely against the Indianised feed for these eng channels and bringing Indian contents which puts off me away from the channel.

I also use hathway and ya I also feel some changes.
My mom also like to watch SOS hehehe English Wala!

This is really bad. Shows used be new and existing on Asia feed but here everything is old and repeat telecast. They have done a big mistake. Discovery HD is still doing a great job . Some American shows used to be premier simultaneously in Asian feed also but here everything is old and gross.
