How ? Operator have to follow the Market they can't give Starter Pack more then Rs. 231 as of now. d2h is a most promising and growing brand hence Broadcaster forcing d2h to provide their channels at lower pack.

Broadcasters should try to make available more channels in lower base packages since their main earning comes from advertisements and it would help them gain more viewership.

IPO is for Investments only, as far as I know. Why would it affect the number channels being offered in a package?

once it becomes an IPO company, then it has narrow its losses to the share holders and d2h would somehow manage to narrow down the loss.

Yeah simple investment right now decision makers are Dhoots but when they launch IPO, Decision Makers would be Board Of Directors when those Director invest on d2h they suddenly deserves a return just like Bank take Interest from us. So simple is that d2h will start cutting channels but package would be based on trend of the market.

Then all DTH will be on same scenario. Understand one thing is IPO is good for companies but not for subscribers, no matter millions of people dumped dishtv but they can generate millions from those directors any time.
