TS has a definite program for upgradation to MPEG 4 technology as per the CEO's plan shared with the press. And TS staff have to follow him. Sooner or later every one in TS will be trained accordingly.
Also that's why TS has begun with an MPEG 4 channel that is available in all packages in order to ensure boxes' standard as well as deliver the message to all customers about MPEG 4 transition.

I spoke to the Bangalore Customer Care office of TS ...they are also not clear on exchanging to MPEG 4 STBs...

Any ways now TS East Indian customers are aware they have to exchange their box to view the channel...1st step is taken by TS for a small group of TS customers...

I wonder who would be the next set of customers....
