HELP Need Suggestion to Buy Home Theater ?

No, 2 Optical and 1 Coaxial (SPDIF). Sony E290 bluray home theatre doesnt have Coaxial so we need to buy a converter to connect the d2h set top box to Sony HT which is bit expensive. So No point in going for Sony , it is having only optical in and not coaxial in.

I am planning to go for ONKYO, coz it is having hdmi in ports, coaxial port and optical port etc. and also in future connecting the new gadgets will become easy.

What do you think? Can we go for ONKYO? do you have any suggestions? what do you feel about the specs

Its comes with warranty and also we have service center in major cities and I am from chennai and we have service center here in chennai. Which place you belong to?

Today i visited croma, reliance digital and a local dealer for demo. Onkyo 3500 is great but in digital and cromaonly 3400 is available . In digital for 27 k we can get a blu ray player by paying 2500 extra combo offer. But local dealer is offering 3500 for
26k. A great deal.... still not decided whether to go for 3500 or 3500
