Just 2 days left and still testing not started yet. Any reason? Normally they test channels much before adding them. I wish they add new channels from new sat and start migration too
You are thinking beyond the limitations,

I won't be possible to add existing 300 channels in a day and that too without testing. First ts need to start testing of all tp to ensure Good signal all over India.

Well suniel bro how come u r so sure that testing on new sat has not started? May be they have tested all transponders on new sat , they might do hidden testing and until all TP's r added in NIT no one would be able to catch it

Yea I know we can track tp frequency only when it added NIT but ts need to test stb before migration and for testing, NIT should be added on tp

But migration will take place for nearly 4-5 months
SAT Migration will take atleast 2 - 3 years to complete it will also depend how much man power and experts gonna involve to do this. Moving to new satellite isn't easy. I am quite sure atleast 10% subscribers have to face severe signal loss and they might not able to get to use TS again.

Bro addition of transponders on STB is not a big deal, it will happen when they want. If suppose they want to add new transponders right now so at that moment itself it will start reflecting on our STB's. Videocon has many times done this, they added new transponders and new channels at same time

I don't think it will take 2-3 yrs for satellite migration and maybe in 1year or so they will complete the migration and yes some of ts customers will face problem during migration but they would have think of that as well

Anirudha bhai this is not Dish TV which is always facing one issue or another, with the manpower Tata Sky has interms of on field technicians it will be completed within 1 year plus they have employed extra manpower for this. Training is being given currently

Basically no one knows before whether signals will be available or not ? And Dish alignment is not easiest task to do as migrating STB, which is I think yet not completed.

So in my colony 6 - 7 peoples uses TS so how many technician TS will send and how much time they will take to migrate could you please give me one wild guess. Out of which one customer might face signal issue because infront of his house second floor building has been build.
