This afternoon I added this FREE Topup called 'Eng Movie HD premium' via Airtel app to one of my Airtel DTH connections.
After a while, I noticed that the daily burn rate of my account has increased to ₹ 1.7/- which means unlike what was stated, the topup was NOT FREE and it'll cost me ₹51 for a month. Disappointed to know that, when I tried to remove the said topup, I received an SMS stating, 'Sorry, your request for removal was NOT successful since the lock in period of this topup is valid till 07-11-2016.
My God, THIS IS A TRAP!
How come something that's free can be charged upon and where was it written that this a lock in & won't be removed before 30 days?!?!!?.
