I have heard about this feature a long back. Don't remember when and where.
But good that they finally launched. But on a bad timing when channel addition meant more than anything else.

You're right, there must have been some serious problem preventing Tata Sky from acquiring required bandwidth otherwise they were much excited in proclaiming channel addition after the launch of gsat 10.

I feel sorry about tata sky and stupid too. Sorry because I know it's all government fault but they never put I&B into courtroom . Stupid because they didn't negotiated well and applied their affluent power to pin down government for foreign satellite inspite of Mr. Harit Nagpal being the chairman of DTH operator association of India .
They might have been avoiding picking up quarrel with the people in power.

Yeah, that could be the most possible reason. But ultimately they are suffering because of this. They have to open up and demand from govt.
