According to another source the SD Zapper exchange offer is like this →

We will get a Refurbished STB [Repaired and in good condition]with 90 days of warranty and has to return Back the old STB , we have to pay Rs 500/- for this .

I dont know this offer is already exists or not.

What actually this do? Did they switch to sd to hd or sd to sd mpeg2 box? Most of Indian ppl don't invest in new technology. They keep using their old tv fridge and other electronic until they stop working.
