Why are paying the replacement cost. Blame it on Tata Sky because their software upgrade caused the problem.Ts CC told me 400 RS for HD stb replacement who will pay 1800
Technician is coming in evening hope that it don't cost more

they said 700 or 800 Rs for TS + HD STB replacement, my TS + HD hard disk is not working. For now using the STB as normal HD STB with no recordingTs CC told me 400 RS for HD stb replacement who will pay 1800

yes 400 Rs is for normal HD STB replacement. Don't worry they will anyway deduct from your account. If they charge more then you can fight with them.
Last time when they replaced my Quad port LNB they just charged for the visit and forgot to charge for LNB
