Yes only for HD boxes model 2011. Update enables usb recording facility like new 2222 box.

Mmrinmoy, I don't know how it actually works. I guessed that because I turned my TV off a little after 1:30AM last night, and only turned it on this morning around 8-ish to find that message. But it was useless, I couldn't get it updated nor could I watch TV unless I cancelled the update.
So, it's gone (for now), and hoping it would come back soon.
What are the features you all looking forward to with this update? Apart from USB recording and Dolby through HDMI?
My wish is that they improve their EPG a little better; I can't search for the shows which I have set reminder for at one place. This is incredibly annoying if you want to cancel a reminder.

It was added on about 6 PM and rolled back /removed on about 10/50 pm [i got at that time] . so some users got the new SW at that time i suppose.

I asked for update on Facebook ...they replied me ,
Dear XYZ, Please be informed that, we have upgraded the software through OTA in a few sample boxes for testing purpose. The new software in HD STB 2011 will be updated in future. Thank you.
