Well i spoke to my source again..he is saying that they will not move all the tamil channels from MPEG 2 to MPEG 4 rather they will move 2 tamil channels that is polimer and adithya will be move to MPEG 4...this they are doing this to create awareness among the tamil customers to speed up the activity... he also added that from August they will migrate all the malayalam channels to MPeg 4 and they will start adding the malayalam channels from August in a phased manner...

Well i spoke to the Bangalore CC office...they are saying that all the 19 tamil channels will be migrated to MPEG 4 on 25th July 2013...in fact she had slightly read out the notice which she received from their management team...

Well CC said to me that the process of exchanging STB is only for 1 month for free . later we have to pay . May be this for Tamil users . in the next step they will migrate Malayalam and they also might get free till 1 month of migrations.

generally ts not give any update untill its fully confirm, so i think all tamil channels will be on mpeg4, they may extend date. And they are giving info that no free stb after 1 month, because some users refusing to replace stb so they are saying this
