So guys today its 24th July 2013...will all the 19 tamil channels be migrated to MPEG 4 by today midnight...?

I am bit skeptical...

no need to add or accommodate Malayalam channels.i am sure no one will complain since adtv,videocon d2h,sd & dish tv is already ahead in this race along with 3 fully digitized cable networks like asianet digital,den & kerala vision.i don't think any one from Kerala will opt for tata sky if they add Malayalam channels.they can concentrate on ROI where they have maximum no of customers.

TS do misses lots of ROI channels,

Today is 24rth and i am also a bit confused wether TS will convert Malyalam channel to mpeg4

But the TS CC people were telling us that all the Tamil channels will be available only in MPEg 4 boxes from 25th July...

So my source said few days before that TS is giving a gimmick regarding this 25th July as they wanted to create awarenes among Tamil Subscribers by means of sedning SMS....as conveyed by my source i guess by 31st July 2013 they will migrate Polimer and Adithya Channel to MPEG 4 and might add Zee Tamil along with it in MPEG 4...

My source - Area sales manager - Madurai...just SMS'ed me stating that from tomorrow Makkal TV will be discontinued in MPEG 2 boxes.....
