Since the digitization is on hold in TN, the analogue signals and the broadcasters would continue to give analog in TN

TN will be the only place where people will be deprived of digitization. The state govt is not bothered about this. Its been 4 yrs yet digitization is not getting completed. HC must see that the Cable TV digitization is completed soon as possible as per the Cable TV Act.

Yeah but what's the exciting part of Digitization.

Digitization should mandatory on HD only. Why we would pay for SD ? Why we would be excited for SD channels ?

DAS will bring more channels to consumers, better PQ and AQ across channels, HD services, interactive services, packages and many more facilities.

in TN, sumangali license can be withdrawn anytime and DAS license not issued to TAC hence they want to extend the date.

Then like its predecssor (CAS), DAS will also fail in one metro and Analogue signals will continue in entire India citing TN as example. Let wisdom prevail for JJ
