HELP No Audio on Sony HD/NGC HD on Solid 3000 HDS2

Hi everyone,

I recently bought Solid 3000 HDS2 box, as I have my dish pointing to ses7,
I got NGC HD, Sony HD, gemini Tv running FTA on SES7.

But Iam not getting any audio on Sony HD and NGC HD....

Pls help.... Does this box, Solid HDS2 3000 not support Dolby Digital ??

Even if it doesn't support Dolby, Audio should be there. Audio might have been disabled from Broadcaster or Operator end.

strange problem.... I am getting audio on Gemini TV. But no audio on HD channels.

Is anybody using this box and getting any channels with Dolby digital ??

Well its the issue of ur FTA Box SW . few SW r not supporting the ADTV AC3 Codec. even few Codec in DVB Dream too not supporting.Certain Codecs only matching their Audio in DVB Dream too.
BTW i have Impex FTA Box and me too not getting Audio of Sony HD , NGC HD.

But Sir, even if they are not supporting AC3 there would be some mechanism to get regular Audio.

I think u can get if u record and play in PC.
These FTA Boxes r cheap branded , so we cant expect much from those boxes.

Oh yes, recording and playing on laptop might work. And codec might be missing on Solid Box and hence it won't be playing Dolby.

is it psb that only video is free and audio is encrypted in fta boxes?

Its vissible and no audio in my FTA Box too but can get in PCI Card.that too a certain Audio Codec + Video Codec combination.

Thats unfair...
But I just wanna know if this box will fetch dolby digital audio from other sat. channels, any guesses bhat ji ?
