The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will launch its own franchise-based T20 league with the first season scheduled to take place in the UAE next year. PCB chairperson PCB Shahayrar M Khan made this announcement at the 36th meeting of the board of governors, held at the National Cricket Academy. In April this year, the PCB engaged Repucom in a consultancy role. Based on the company’s preliminary findings, the board of governors discussed three major questions related to the league.
