Indie music & sub-culture channel Pepsi MTV Indies launched.

Indie music and sub-culture channel Pepsi MTV Indies was launched on February 20, 2014 with an all-star music jam featuring some of the biggest names from the Indian independent scene.

Pepsi and MTV India have joined hands to launch this channel. The channel will be available on television in High Definition and Dolby 5.1 surround sound across leading DTH and digital cable platforms. It will also have online presence via a website. Besides, an Indie music discovery app has been created, which is accessible across all Android and iOS platforms.

I have learnt that Tata Sky is the only DTH which is going to add this channel on launch date.

Others have to wait for this channel on their DTH. And channel is launched only on web. It is yet to be launched it's transmission from satellite.

Movies channel are always welcome by operators as they pay carriage fee. So, expect this on all DTH operators and MSO.
