I seriously don't understand price rise and hike because I still find everything price same today as it was when petrol/diesel prices were high.

I read an article in a Express group news paper last Sunday......
Its mentioned there that the crude oil prices are falling because of an operation launched by America with the help of KSA to destabilize Russia's economy & to instil agitation among Russian people.
This operation will take atleast 1.5 years & till then crude prices will remain low.
America launched similar operation in late 80's to destabilize then USSR & overthrow the regime in which they became successful.
This is helping India indirectly & that's the reason prices will continue to remain low.
