No bro it's not upscaled,
For example, I may be wrong though,
It's like full hd & hd ready,
Full HD is 1080i or 1080P,
HD Ready is 720P,
Pq is same like 1080i channel.
In SD channel resolution is 576i or in some cases it's 480i.
