Software update will keep happening till next few days as per info received from CC. So, now all HD users will have latest software update having download ID of 45.

- any update about usability of recording feature? ( with changing remote type option) If this is there ONLY then can say it really worth otherwise dump again.

a) Any shortcut keys provided as "red,green,yellow,Blue" for "Start Recording,F/F,R/F & Stop recording" respectively??
b) Any shortcut button provided like e.g. 'Help' to move to 'Recording list' directly??

As all are talking about "My HD STB 2011" S/W got updated just now with download ID 45 as informed . Earlier DW ID was 20/25 I guess.

Hope this S/W version now supports to " Recording one channel And Watch that one OR other remaining available channel"which is mean requirement in current circumstances.

Forget about "Record 2 and watch these both or remaning available channels OR
Record multi and watch multi channels".
I guess this feature would be present in upcoming "2014 manufactured 'Zigbee Chips-Greenlight tech' HD DVR or HD STBs.
Till that we have to compromise on existing above talked features with DW ID45.

Will get back soon with DW ID 45 update Fixes and features and Enhancements done.

You can record and watch two channels that are present in the same tps.
For ex, you could record Axn and watch Zee cafe on d2h in HD stbs. If you want to record two programs then twin cables are required which is only available on HDDVR.

@Vadirocks Hi, I got updated to the same firmware/software of yours 2-3 days back... and have the same product data like yours.

But I'm not able to use/enable the Dolby Digital 5.1 sound... I'm on the STB HD 2011 Box, and I've connected the STB via HDMI to HDTV and I'm having a Home Theatre which is connected via Coaxial Cable with the TV for receiving Audio from STB.

Is there a way I could enable it? Do I need any specific cable or connection to turn it on?

settings-->user preferences-> audio-> auto.
If your Tv supports DD then you would get DD over HDMI.

2nd method
Press "i" on your remote, you would get mini guide then press yellow button and choose dolby digital if available on HD channels.
