Most of the channels in sd are not good in terms of picture clarity. Some channels are poor in sharpness

quality comes first. Its worthless to add more and more channels by compromising on quality.

Yes.Everyone has their own point of view.
Other DTH company are not adding channels,so the customer are complaining.
For e.g Tata Sky, their picture quality is very good but they don't have content(Very Limited Channels). So wats the use of that.??

Actually people who r asking for Counts is not watching them or subscribing all channels. the count issue has now bcome a passion for few.. . some r using this to defame another DTH..

This PQ regarding post come on repeat basis after some days.

I also agreed with Mr.bhat . that users are only demanding for higher counts and not PQ

Mr.Bhat I am not defaming other DTH. I was just giving example of TS.
Everyone knows that 450+ channels no one can watch.

Bro I selected D2H because of channel count. If I would have chosen on the basis of PQ then I would have gone for TS or Airtel.

There should be a balance of both Quality and Quantity. For any DTH's to survive in India will have to ensure that they provide the basic minimum channels in all Lang's and Genres. Otherwise they will be popular in some parts of the country. For instance Sun is popular in south and they cant get grip in north or south east, unless they increase their quantity.
