Trouble is brewing for Kerala Governor and former chief justice of India P Sathasivam as a PIL has been filed against him in the Supreme Court. The PIL has been filed by senior advocate Adish Agarwala in which he has alleged that Sathasivam misused his judicial powers.
According to the PIL, Sathasivam as judge misused his official powers to help his son and son's mother-in-law. He is alleged to have helped his son get a Maruti car agency in Coimbatore.
The PIL also says that government should not consider his candidature for the post of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) Chairman.
