Ponmagal Vandhal is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language legal drama film written and directed by J. J. Fredrick in his debut, and produced by Suriya. The film stars Jyothika leading an ensemble cast including R. Parthiban, K. Bhagyaraj, Thiagarajan, Pandiarajan and Pratap Pothen
Ponmagal Vandhal is set in Ooty in 2020. A local resident named 'Petition' Pethuraj (K.Bhagyaraj) is well known for filing cases against the general public to be in the limelight. Pethuraj reopens a case that happened way back in 2004, involving a serial killer 'psycho' Jothi who was convicted for kidnapping and murdering five children and two youngsters.
