KOLKATA: The north eastern region of the country has been an ignored lot. And it is not just the people, who are asking for attention, but the channels as well that are now vying for more visibility. One such channel is Assam-based Prag News, a 24x7 satellite News channel, which is looking at pan-India presence. The channel has signed a deal with direct to home (DTH) operator Tata Sky to further enhance its distribution in other parts of the country.
“We have already signed the deal with Tata Sky and as soon as the operator finds the bandwidth, Prag News will be included on the platform,” informs Prag News chairman and managing director Sanjive Narain. Assam’s Prag News aims for better distribution, content tie up | Indian Television Dot Com

Whether Tata Sky have space or not, they continue with the deals.

Earlier also they did same activity and added channels in one shot once space was created by MPEG4 migration.

Yes bro. Deal has been done for PIX HD. Whenever they will start addtion, PIX HD will be the next HD channel to be added on Tata Sky.

As per your info in other thread i am sure they would be getting Transponder space soon. After all they have already paid for it.

SUNIEL yes bro.definetly...because once tatasky ceo said that, they were in a plan to provide atleast 40 channels in each regional language..

Mr. Nagpal has made lots of statement bro. Out of that some has been completed and many other are yet to be done. Let's hope they announce about GSAT 10 soon.
