Star India, the official broadcaster, will be happy with the way Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) is growing in popularity. Enthused by the growth, Star has already announced that there will be two seasons of the league from 2016. The ratings for the second season of PKL has jumped 47 per cent to 1.33 TVR compared to 0.91 TVR in the previous edition, according to data provided by TAM Sports 4+ All India.
The average reach of the tournament has also increased 19 per cent to 4.56 per cent, from 3.85 per cent in the previous season. The average time spent jumped 18 per cent to 21.20 minutes from 17.92 minutes
