I kept following up with Reliance Digital Store whole day for activation but they gave nothing other than assurance of activation till evening
And when i called them in evening phones started getting unanswered.
So, in frustration i dialed 18008901977 from phone and punched the JioFi number for activation and Alas ! JioFi got activated
But my joy remained for few minutes as when i inserted the sim in JioFi device and connected my laptop it says No Internet Connection. After checking everything thrice tried calling their helpline which kept playing music got 15 minutes.
So, i thought of activating the sim again but instead of getting any activated successful or unsuccessful IVR, it asked to hold the line and was connected to an executive after 5 minutes.
The person told me that sim has been activated and it will take another one hour for services to become operational.
BUt even after 2 hours it didn't got activated.. and i called again. This time the lady said that she is not able to initiate the activation command as server is down and i need to call after 48 hours i.e 2 days.
In shock i asked her again about the timeline and she confidently and proudly asserted that yes sir after 48 hours. This left me with no words to express as next word would be like " Kya Chu!!&#a hai" So i preferred to cut the call.
and guess what?
The moment i cut the call JioFio started working
and this is the present speed
