Does anyone feel that jio is throttling connection when hotspot is being used?

Bought 2 mifi device. There was a line of about 60 people outside the store, but I was allowed in since I wanted to buy the device. Form filling was breeze since with ekyc everything is buttersmooth. Although the number is not activated yet. I am told that there is no 4GB limit on mifi device. Also the product code is different when they register the sim. So I am of the impression that services will be better than the sim bought under JPO.

They lied to you. They said the same to me but there is no more JPO. Data will come to end after 4 GB is consumed. Call Center has clearly told me that from 5th September each and every Jio Number has been migrated to Welcome Offer.

You are correct that there is no more JPO but welcome offer is different for normal sim and mifi device.
You can confirm the same on jio.com. You will find that on the front page it clearly says 4GB daily limit but for mifi there is no limit
