HELP Purchasing a new DTH

I have faced this kind of Error. This is what Engineer explained to me.

Every STB has Unique Serial Number which is paired with VC Card number. Sometime during packaging at factory wrong combination are assembled and when Box is activated in system, activation failed due to VC and Serial Number mismatch.

In that case they have to make changes into their systems and configure VC card with STB manually. So, Let's wait till 10:00 AM tomorrow. If it didn't happened escalate in day time itself.

Well Bro I checked the box and its Vc card no mentioned both were same. Then I tht of ending the card refresh myself by sending an SMS and wo you go I got mine Tv showing channels . I am happy to see it showing the channels.

Shame on that CC person/Engineer and Online Sales Team which was not able to sort out this Issue.

well members not much impresed with the contrast and color ratio on HD channels. I feel Hd channels on DishTv tru Hd was more natural. On d2h it has either a bluish or redish tint. yes SD channels appreared to me more crisp than Tru Hd SD channels.

Finally some reality and pol-khol of d2h as compared to other DTH operator. Mazi has already confirmed that ADTV PQ is better than d2h, someone else has confirmed similar thought WRT tata sky and now dish TV too confirmed to have better PQ in terms of HD.

the fact is that d2h hd quality is superb and d2h sd quality is also good. only problem is that their stb shows slight bluish tint in colors which makes people think that d2h pic quality is bad which is not true, d2h needs to improve stb quality

I think this bluish tint in into newer STB because I have old DVR and I don't find any such color tints

yes im bhai each dth operator launch with good quality hardware and then come to lower quality chinese/korean stb to keep costs low and gain more profit but really d2h stb shows bluish tint, tata sky and airtel stb's show natural color

maine bolaa thaa Dish TruHD have very good quality HD Channels. Same quality i am getting in my Tatasky HD too..
