HELP Purchasing a new DTH

D2H is having their own manufacturing units in India, so they can easily improve the hardware. Don't know why they still not rectifying it.

d2h hd quality is 5 times better than tata sky, tata sky applies heavy compression and de blocking on all chs which almost takes away the sharpness specially in hd chs

all bcoz videocon belives in manufacturing low cost products. i purchased philips led andall philips led and lcd's r manufactured by videocon . three times tv has been changed bcoz all tv has panel amnufacturing defect. this is the quality of videocon. i am happy with videocon d2h , only issue is the blue clor tone issue

I think this bluish tint in into newer STB because I have old DVR and I don't find any such color tints

I Think u have to watch live HD Channels in TS HD, TruHD and compare them. although HD Channels in D2H is very good.

I don't agree Dino bhai. TS HD is equally good in quality similar to D2H HD

no tata sky hd and sd is bad infront of d2h hd. i have tata sky hd, d2h hd and airtel hd and can tell u this. but yes noe airtel has improved in pic quality, earlier there were lots of cracking frames in some chs , now its gone

That's your personal perception. As per mine view, HD PQ is same in all DTH Operator. It might be different for other members.

Thats What Dino Bhai the bluish Tint really spolling all the fun.

yes im bhai each dth operator launch with good quality hardware and then come to lower quality chinese/korean stb to keep costs low and gain more profit but really d2h stb shows bluish tint, tata sky and airtel stb's show natural color

that is all bcoz of poor quality of stb, we all should write to d2h to improve their stb quality. i have done so and their r and d head is coming to my home very soon
