Yes but why would someone change the train. It is supposed to be allocated in the same train itself.

In long distance train its hard to get a seat from remote location hence.

Trains are never full. Cancellation happens till last minute and many don't turn up for travelling too. All those vacant seats are source of income for TC.

So, there must be a provision to check vacant seats of trains online even after journey starts so that WL or RAC ticket holders can claim those seats.

Bro generally north trains will have this situation but in south especially from Hyderabad to vishakapatnam we dont have any luck on this all time fulls

Yeah they cost if price is hiked. I have given to TC more than 3-4 times.

Recent hikes didn't cost me, I booked ticket confirmed and didn't affected after 12th Nov. hike.

If you have a confirmed booking and if there is a price hike you will have to pay the difference to TTE, for that he need to issue a receipt too
