basically HD menace sports . it don't matter how hd channels they have now . but every operator should include all HD channels

Do you understand the cost and bandwidth involved in it. Only 10-15 % HD users exist in India. So, any company will think about 90% choice than the remaining 10%.

Also, more HD channel means higher and higher price and we Indians are not in a habit of tolerating steep price hike unless its done by our honorable government.

As a finance person I can see there are lots of advantages for Sun Direct in this merger than disadvantages.

Their strategy is clearly well defined & there are lots of benefits for this. Also the news Rcom will just have 26% stake is even more better for Sun rather than Rcom having a 50% stake...

So there are chances that this can turn out to be a good combo....

I agree with you bro. In this entire deal, the one who's going to be benefited more is Sun Direct. They have money and power to remain ahead in Media Industry and they gonna make the most out of this deal.

Their only issue was Satellite which will be sorted out after this deal.

Isro should have open sky policy which every dth company is demanding. they are not allowed to directly hire a foreign satellite.
