then what's the benefit of 1:1 is its halved.

For every share held by the share holder bonus shares will be issued as of said date. That's called 1:1. The market value of the shares will be cut to half since the share holder will reap the benefit out of it once dividends are declared.

They are re-issuing this after 8 years. Over a period of time company will buy back the shares when they make good profit.
