Reliance Jio 4G launch tariffs: We start from Rs 19 per day data plan for the occasional data user. Then there is a Rs 149 monthly plan for the light data user.
Reliance Jio 4G launch: In a big-bang launch for Reliance Jio, Mukesh Ambani at the 42nd RIL AGM announced that all voice calls for Jio customers will be free. “The era of paying for voice calls is sending,” Ambani said. He also said that no roaming charges will be applicable for Jio customers across India. “Jio makes India the highest quality and lowest data price market in the world,” he said while announcing data rates. “With Reliance Jio, you will pay only Rs 50 for every GB that you use. The more data you use, the lower the rate,” he said. “I believe these are the absolute lowest data rates anywhere in the world,” Ambani added.

Announcing the launch tariffs, Ambani said, we have a plethora of plans. “We start from Rs 19 per day data plan for the occasional data user. Then there is a Rs 149 monthly plan for the light data user. The data plan for the heaviest user goes up to Rs 4,999 per month,” he said. “We have provided the lowest LTE data rates in the world,” he added. Ambani went on to say that Jio is also rolling out many wi-fi hotspots across the country. “By the middle of the next year, we will have 1 million wi-fi hotspots across India,” he promised.

In news that will bring big cheer for students, Ambani announced special discounts for them. “We will allow students to use 25% more data on Jio’s main tariff plans.” “Data should never be unaffordable for anyone. Jio will cover 18,000 cities & 2 lakh villages,” he added.

Mukesh Ambani began the 42nd AGM of Reliance Industries by talking about his plans for the launch of Reliance Jio. “Jio means to live and to be alive to very opportunity. World’s demand for digital oxygen, that is data, is growing exponentially. Jio aims to fulfill this need of Indians. Access to information will now know no barriers,” he said. Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for Digital India is a life changing moment. Jio is a dedication to that Digital India dream of the Prime Minister, his vision for the 1.2 billion people of India,” Ambani said.
