But Ramayan has created record in TV Industry. In every street or building anyone having TV and Doordarshan has to keep his doors open when Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan air on Sundays. :excited:

Well friends how can you miss this one .....i got goosebumps today when i watched this again almost after 10 to 15 years ....

It would be great to go back to such a time of 80's and 90's..Life was simple..no rat race.. no TRP buying a bicycle used to be a news in our area..Tv with big antenna's...DD1 was the only channel...Sunday evening movies were watched by at least 25 to 30 people together and during interval we used to get something to eat.. There was no home theater but at time time our homes were real theaters.
There was cable, Nointernet, no 24X7 breaking news..No pizza, no alcohol...no parties We had no seatbelts, no airbags, no toilet papers...When thirsty we only drank tap water, bottled water was still a mystery
We were showing off how tough we are, by how high we could climb trees & then jumping down….It was great fun…. not by showing off expensive mobile or car.
We ate everything in sight, cakes, bread, chocolate, ice-cream, sweet sugary drinks, yet, we stayed skinny…
When we failed our exams we were given a second chance by simply repeating the same grade…without visiting psychiatrists, psychologists or counselors…

i remember playing street games with friends ... that was not considered bad at that time ... when there used to be power failure in evening people used to come out of their houses and sit and chat in groups ....only our age group can understand, why we like Doordarshan....:freaky:
