Completely agree. They could have added DD HD feed atleast on new MPEG4 TP

When a feed is produced in HD, then to telecast it properly in proper SD aspect ratio so that picture is not stretched from top and bottom in SD TV we have 2 options either to show it in letter box format or show in cropped format. DD is producing Republic Day feed in HD and cropping it for SD feed but these people have given same cropped feed to their HD Version thus even in HD feed picture is stretched from left and right. As usual it shows technical incompetency of our national broadcaster
