Star Plus has confirmed that it will be replacing its long running show ‘Saathiya’ with ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ in the 19:00 slot later this month,.

After endless rumours, the decision has been taken to axe ‘Saathiya’ and move ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ from its afternoon 13:00 slot to 19:00 from Monday 24th July 2017. This will also break-up Star Plus’ innovative afternoon Star Plus Dopahar slot, which was launched with much fanfare in March.

‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ is the sequel to the cult series ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’, which proved a huge ratings winner.
