No, this isn't about the ratio, we have Movies Now+ and Movies Now both in 16:9, the former is HD and latter is SD. Picture quality is what matters, and that should be 720p or at least 1080i. Not to mention 4:3 is completely useless to watch on HDTV.
As of today, there are 168 HD channels in USA, and 38 of those are broadcasted in 720p, the rest in 1080i. Where are we compared to that? It's like we're getting started with HD, just like the West is getting started with UHD. By the time we manage to reach 100 HD channels, rest of the World will be enjoying UHD.
All I'm saying is it's time for Indian mass media companies to boost up the number of HD channels, that is what the viewers need. It's not like we don't have resources.
