Good that atleast now law has taken its course & Salman got punished....But I think its due to long struggle that former IPS officer turned AAP activist YP Singh fought with Mumbai Police.....

I think he & his lawyer wife dragged Mumbai Police to the court for favouring Salman Khan & delaying litigation.

Now it seems its because of court direction, Police had to act & issue summons to Salman.

"YP Singh held a press meet in Mumbai to show what he says is an 'expose' on how the Mumbai police helped actor Salman Khan's hit-and-run case drag on for 10 years. According to Mr Singh, other accident cases in Mumbai like the Nooriya Haveliwala case and the Alistair Pereira case were completed within two years.
