Sarthak TV, a popular Odiya GEC, owned & operated by Zee, is rebranded as Zee Sarthak from 15th October at 9 pm.

Why? Unlike Star (Star Suvarna, Star Maa, Star Vijay, Star Pravah, Star Jhalsa, Asianet) , Zee has all regional channels in standard format Zee-Marathi Kannada Telugu Bangla Tamil etc. Asianet Bharati & Kaveeri was replaced by the Alpha which zee used for regional channels.
Now Only ones in old name were Big Ganga and Sarthak. Now Sarthak is renamed as Zee Sarthak and Big Ganga will become Zee Ganga.
In a year Zee Ganga and Zee Sarthak will be replaced by Zee Bhojpuri & Zee Odiya.

Zee will retain only 3-4 brands for TV
