Dth companies compress to make many channels to passthrough single transponder. Then what about cable tv how much capacities do they have.

Cable companies don't need to Uplink. Once downlinked they directly sent these to our houses through network of cables. That's the big advantage with them.

I think Digital Cables uses Decoder for separate channels once they decode the channel from their Broadcasting center they sent signals to our houses via cable tats a reason they don't care Uplink, Downlink even lots of Internet Based channels are available in the cable which not even having Uplink, Downlink permissions but for DTH they Uplink channels in to their TP then Downlink so we able to view channels via DTH, Cable operators need Decorders and DTH needs TPs.
