I think u have forgotten that when congress came to power in 2004 that time because of NDA govt sensex was way down but after that it increased rapidly and because of UPA govt for ten years sensex has reached it here now

That time it was happened because of Anti - Incumbency towards NDA and Advani was not strong even UPA lost at 2009 if Advani was not projected. Everyone knows Modi not having Magic Stick and will not do anything special but he's better then Mannu and Pappu atleast can speak properly and shows the attitude of India to the World.
