HELP Should I stay with d2h or move to Dish TV

I am using videcond2h hd from last 2 years I also had dishtv hd before that recently I was tempted to switch to dishtv bcoz of more hd content on offer but sooner I realised picture quality is very poor as compared so just within 2 weeks I was back to videocon I think only tatasky can beat videcon in hd quality stay with it don't switch to dishtv It sux

But all dth have good pq on all hd channels and dish tv is best to have if one wants all hd channels

I have personally used only Dishtv & watched other 3 DTH at other place.....From this experience & forum posts info, I am convinced that SD PQ on Dishtv is not good but HD PQ is best among all.

I think we can get vibrant PQ by tuning our TV also, every DTH uses different types of technology, compression and all other aspect. For that we can't get desire PQ via same settings, we have to assign it according to our own liking to get good PQ.

I even convince that dishtv's signals drops during Afternoon or when Sun comes near to satellite that time PQ drops in SD channels not only that even we can see the affect in UI also but at night it all stables or in cloudy and rainy days you will get more vibrant PQ into those channels in which PQ are good rest I am agrees that SD PQ is not upto the mark.

Rest with HD either tune your TV or enjoy whatever DTH you like most

It's been almost 1 year since I posted this thread.
Things have changed.

The monthly price of my base package Gold Entertainment HD is now increased to rs. 368 per month with no HD channels addition.
While dishtv has increased their HD channel count in Super Family Game on HD from 20 to 22..with slight increase in price.

At present I am being charged 368(base pack)+12 (9xO and VH1)=380 rs per month.
Only 8 HD channels are being offered in this package:
Star Plus, Sony, Zee, Colors, Life OK, Star Gold, Zee Cinema, MTunes HD.
No sports channel.

On the other hand in Dish TV, if I subscribe to New Super Family base pack in DishTV I will be getting 22 HD channels at rs 250(base pack)+145(Super Family Game On HD add on)= Rs.395

Although I'll not be getting 9xO in DishTv but to compensate it they have Nat Geo Music which d2h doesn't have.

Will surely switch to DishTv after my d2h subscription ends.

There was a time when d2h was the most economical and value for money service provider. Now it is not.

DD sound is not available in most of the HD channels on dish tv.

Now many HD channels have 5.1 Audio.

You are on a pack which is already discontinued. You should change your package.
