Firangi was a very good channel when it launched. It used to air Mexican, Turkish, Latin serials dubbed in Hindi. Sad that diff variety of channels like BBC Entertainment, Firangi, World Movies, Lumiere Movies don't find it feasable to run in India. Such diff content should be promoted. All other countries even have BBC Lifestyle, CBeebies too but in India they shut shop as BBC find the carriage fee system not suitable to run the channels in India. These cable operators do gundagardi and just imagine how they would have behaved with foreign channels distributing channels themselves when they show tantrums with even channels which have local people running the distribution. I am happy that BBC has tied up with MSM for distribution of BBC Earth, hopefully this time they will not face any distribution issue. Also i hope to see the return of BBC Ent and C Beebies too if BBC Earth is a success. After that i also want BBC Lifestyle to be launched.

DTH ops also need to wake up and add International Channels like ITV Choice, TV Monde Asie, NHK World, CCTV, Australia Plus, France 24, DW TV. Its a shame that DTH ops don't give a damn to international channels in India. Even MSO's provide the channels
