Tata Sky purposely delaying to sign the contract because they don't want new TRAI order to be implemented.
And now Star's plead delaying the proceedings will further screw TS's content deal since their contract with everyone is expired now.

I think Sony should self analysis now that what they have earned by marrying to Tata Sky ?
Before marriage they had a good romantic relationship with dishtv - Siti and d2h, they used to have the grand launch and viewership and now ? Their position in terms of viewership are same as before and their launches are flop.
How Sony did post their rift with dishtv - Siti and d2h:
Sony Pal - Flopped, converted to FTA tough fight with Zee Anmol.
Sony Yay! struggling to maintain their position in Top 5 bought Zee Q's content to air.
Sony Wah hit because of FTA.
Sony Max HD not in Top 5
Sony Rox HD not in Top 5
Sony BBC Earth, no. 1 because of their distribution push.
Bought TEN, shutting down TEN GOLF HD, TEN 1 is struggling to maintain it's top spot which it used to be under ZEE. Star Sports First gets more viewers then TEN 3 during non live event week.
Sony BBC Earth HD, Sony TEN 2 HD, Sony TEN 3 HD, Sony ESPN HD not enough distribution push.
Sony Marathi not in Top 5.
They positioned Sony Sab HD well while the launch.
Sony Le Plex HD - they wasted their premiers when they got zero viewers to watch it.
