On Tata Sky all channels which offer Dolby Digital sound have Dolby Digital Plus sound. Star offers Dolby Digital Plus sound from their end itself. Other channels which offer Dolby Digital sound are encoded to Dolby Digital Plus by Tata Sky instead of offering straight Dolby Digital of broadcaster.
