As far as ny experience is concerned. Dish TV, Airtel and Videocon r very fast in adding channels, had airtel got more bandwidth then it would have added many more SD and HD chs. Even their 12th TP has some issue that is why they activated it so late and that too with low symbol rate, may be it has some signal or functioning issues so they r not putting much load on it.
Regarding tata sky well it is very choosy in adding channels. They have bandwidth right now , let us see if they add more channels or not. But surely dish tv , videocon and airtel have always be ahead of tata sky interms of channel count and more affordable ( barring airtel)
