Yes, but if I am not wrong then one gets subscriptions free worth 1100rs...so around 1100-1200 is the real investment in going for an HD box...

It was HD start era and d2h only imported HD DVR-4611 160GB boxes from Ultech which are known to be Best HD FULL HD-5.1DD deleivered boxes from Videocon d2h.
Whereas d2h HD STB(other dvr models) are manufactured in India by trendelectronics.in known for Poor h/w n s/w quality..

Wheras TS imported everything..n having edge of every HD product.

So compare TS HD DVR with D2h's HD DVR of 4611 model Only.Rest is History.

wheras as moving to future 4K UHD STB will have to experience product quality so as reviews.
And what I know M-Star are known for producing 4K-UHD chips with official Licence of DIV-X HEVC.
So as Technicolor having other similar segment.

But time will tell who beats whom...Hybrid M-Star-d2h V/s Technicolor(Imported TS).

no IM brother...I bought tata sky hd last year in Nov (2250rs) and I got two months of grand sports (440 rs that time)...two months of hd access fee waived off...and two showcase movies free...2*440+2*100+2*75=1230rs (free)
