completely agree with you. Also wanted to know when are they shutting the regional channels. He should come up with a clear cut road map 
SPNI plans to expand their portfolio among various regional markets i.e. Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi & Punjabi (in 1st phase) & also Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam & Odia (in 2nd phase).
Their main strategy is regional channels acquisition instead of launching new channels.

You don't understand the southern languages and what.reason?
They can acquire existing channels. As other big networks already have top channels in regional space...... e.g
Star has a good regional presence in South, Marathi & Bangla.
Zee has good presence in Marathi, Bangla, Odiya, Bhojpuri & South except Malayalam
TV 18 has presence in Bangla, Odiya, Marathi, Gujrati & Kannada.
What if they acquire Sun... It will be a sixer as of they have no conflicting channels..... Only issue is Marans wont be selling Sun

they can talk about the launch for next 6 month then plan for next 6 month and may be launch in another 6 month.
